This summer's exciting opportunities:

Dad & Daughter Mini-Camp: (k-3rd grade)

We offer a special opportunity to make memories this summer! Dads, bring your little girl for three very special, memory-filled days together at the new Dad & Daughter Mini-Camp! Dads will bunk in dad cabins and girls will bunk in fully staffed, girl cabins. You'll enjoy all the traditional mini-camp activities side by side, smile by smile. Read more here!

Wildflowers Camp: (4th - 7th grade)

Come on out for a week of adventure and excitment at Camp Hemlock. Each day contains a variety of activites with your cabin mates and Jr Counselor. Each day ends with a devotional songfest around a campfire. The sound of girls giggling is contagious. The sound of girls voices singing together is the music of angels. The sound of girls praying together is a soothing fragrance raised to heaven.

Basic L.A.C.E: (8th grade)

Girls finishing 8th grade will participate in L.A.C.E. (Leadership and Camping Experience). L.A.C.E. offers girls a leadership related Bible Study, some service projects, team building, and a more challenging level of traditional camp activities.

When you come to Adventure L.A.C.E., you will be able to experience incredible outdoor adventures such as canoeing, climbing, caving, backpacking, and traditional camp fun! This new week will be customized based on camper requests and leadership skills. Its goal is to expand the life skills of 21st century females! Options may include sewing somthing cool, basic car maintenance, fancy cooking -- indoor and outdoor, home maintenance and decoration, hostessing, using power tools, landscaping, etc!

DIY Mini-L.A.C.E. (9th - 12th grade)

During D.A.D Mini-Camp A (July 25th - 28th), we will have a couple of Cabin Grandmas teaching some skills they've acquired over the years, such as furniture refinishing, canning, making pillows, refurbishing an antiquee dollhouse with furniture, dolls and clothes, and other specialty skills as we enlist our Grandmas! Since it's only a half week, it only costs half as much!

How Do I Register for these cool camps?

You register as a regular camper for DIY Mini-Camp A or CWF A . If you choose CWF A, just write "LACE 4 LIFE" in the "Notes" column. After that, I'll contact you & your parents by email regarding any particular Life Skills you are interested in. Topics of interest can then be assessed and leadership gathered (details are still a work-in-progress). The staff and I are very excited about LACE-4-LIFE! Camp is a place to experience and learn things you may not have the chance to do elsewhere-not just the traditional great outdoor fun of Camp Wildflowers, but also the traditional and various sides of being a godly woman in this complicated world.
